Road Trip Planner on iOS
Road Trip Planner stemmed from a simple idea – "What if you could book your hotel within the Wyndham Rewards app along your driving route?" No more hopping between Google Maps, TripAdvisor or other booking platforms.
The digital team designed an intuitive booking flow, showing stops along a map based on time, distance or calculated "suggested" stays.

The digital creative team also ensured app parity between the Wyndham Rewards iOS and Android app, undergoing exhaustive visual design quality assurance checking.
To promote this new feature within Wyndham's responsive web experience, the team also designed a call out within the mobile website's homepage search module.

Marketing, Advertising, Email & SEO Content Pages
To get the word out about Road Trip Planner, the digital and brand marketing teams released a multi-channel campaign.
Starting with search engine traffic, content was written for a Road Trip Guide full of tips and hosted on the main wyndhamhotels.com website. The design team also crafted banner display ads and email communications letting guests know about this useful new booking tool.
Media Coverage
Road Trip Planner was released for summer travel and received many kudos from the press and hotel guests. The intuitive booking process, combined with an ease-of-use, was highlighted in many online hospitality media outlets.
